May 4--Had the biopsy done. It was a long day. Not a lot of fun, but not as bad as I thought. The Dr. was great. She really didn't like the lump at '6 o'clock' that they thought might be a cyst. She also found a 'suspicious' lymph node and I know THAT is not good news. Results should be by Wednesday.
May 6--The call came this morning from the Dr. I'm still a little stunned, even though I kept preparing myself, but I have Ductal Cancer. The 6 o'clock lump is Grade 3, the 9 o'clock lump is low grade and the lymph node has high grade tumor cells, probably from the 6 o'clock lump. I have an appointment with the surgeon in the morning.
I wish I had the skill that some have for writing, but I really don't have that skill and just pouring my heart out on my feelings is something I did once in my life years ago and don't have the desire to repeat. So I keep it simple and factual.

I am also a member of the knitting made easy 4 u group, and I followed your link at the bottom of a post from last Nov. Once I got to your blog, I read about your biopsy, and your bad news. I just wanted to see how you are doing and to tell you I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers. I always seem to be behind in reading my group e-mails so forgive me if you have posted there recently and I haven't seen it.
